Simon Says Stamp! Challenge Blog – Masculine/Father’s Day

I am starting to really embrace challenges. It is so much fun! I don’t think I had been this productive in a week. The cards made by the talented design team gave me ideas on how to use some stamps and new perspective on how to design my cards.

Out of the challenges I’ve joined, I found this to be the most difficult one. And this challenge is from:

For some reasons, I find it hard to make a masculine card. I have no idea why. But since moustache is trending now, I wanted to make a card with a moustache on it. And here is how my card looks like:

I hand drawn the moustache since I do not have any moustache stamp or die cut, I then embossed using silver tinsel Stampendous embossing powder. The tie is also handmade and cut out of red Best Occassions shiny paper pack bought at Walmart. The edges is done using Brilliance Starlight Silver. Since the card is black on black, I raised the layer using 3D pop dots from Forever In Time. The inside of the card is simple and the edges is done in Memento Tuxedo Black. Here is how it looks like:

Most of us find masculine cards difficult, too, but I think your card is great! Thanks for playing with us at Simon Says Stamp this week!
