Unwrap a Special Day: Case Study Challenge #150

I might have had a little too much fun this weekend. I created another card to be entered in  Case Study Challenge #150, inspired by Jocelyn Olson‘s creation:

My first card was about overlapping poinsettias to create a colorful wreath. My second card was done with watercolors and my third (and last) card was also done with watercolors. The difference between my second and third card is the use of negative and positive image. Here is my third one:

  2. Punch: Martha Stewart
  3. Sentiment: Stampendous – Birthday Wish
  4. Other: Black Ranger Archival Ink, heat gun, ATG, Forever In Time 3D pop dots

This week’s case is so freaking awesome! Jocelyn Olson did it again!

Look at those colors! Yes, they overlap but don’t you think they complement each other really well? I sure had a lot of fun casing this one. Here is my take:

Praying for You: CAS #34

I find this colour challenge #34 from CAS-Colours and Sketches  very challenging! I don’t have the Stampin’ Up! shades required but luckily we are allowed to use whatever is in our stash that is close enough. The shades for this challenge are:

And to make this more challenging, we are not allowed to use any other colors apart from those. White or cream cardstock and black ink is allowed though. Phew…

So here is my card:
